How to Create and Open All Toggles in Notion at Once

Notion has many hidden features that you can explore and still get more. This makes Notion more impressive and tempting to use.

You can use many Notion features in a shortcut without spending too much of your time.

In this tutorial, we are going to see how you can create and open all toggles all at once in a page.

There are many ways and shortcuts to create or open toggle in Notion, we will see each one of them.

1. “/toggle” to create a toggle list

“/toggle” command is a basic keyboard shortcut in Notion where you can create a toggle list. You can use these toggles to create a list and write in the toggle block which you can expand on clicking the the arrow icon.

2. “> + Space” to create a toggle list

To create a toggle list in an easier way, you can just type “>” and press space and it will create a toggle list that you can use. This is much easier than writing the “/toggle” command. This is a use full keyboard shortcut which you can use.

3. “CTRL+SHIFT+ 7” to create a toggle list

There is another way to create a toggle list: type “CTRL+SHIFT+ 7,” which will create a toggle list for you.

4. “cmd/ctrl + option/alt + T” to expand or close all toggles

After you have created multiple toggle lists, you can open all of them with a keyboard shortcut: “cmd/ctrl + option/alt + T”, for wind

Note: I tried this shortcut in Windows but it didn’t work properly.

5. “cmd/ctrl + enter” to open or close a toggle list

There is another way you can open and close a toggle list. You just have to select all the toggle lists by right-clicking the mouse and dragging it, then apply the keyboard shortcut “cmd/ctrl + enter” to open and close a toggle list.

These are the ways you can create and open all toggle lists in notion. Here is the summary,

Create a toggle:

  • “/toggle” command
  • “> + Space” keyboard shortcut
  • “CTRL+SHIFT+ 7” keyboard shortcut

Open or close a toggle list:

  • “cmd/ctrl + option/alt + T” keyboard shortcut
  • Select all the toggles and type “cmd/ctrl + enter” keyboard shortcut
